Hi, I’m Steph,

I’m an artist based in Leighton, Cheshire, specialising in creating custom pet portraits that celebrate and honour the love we have for our furry friends—past and present.

My journey as an artist began when I was a little girl. I loved drawing and would sit for hours, lost in my sketchbook. I have such lovely memories of drawing with my Grandad when he picked me up from school. I studied art through school and A-Levels, practically living in the art room during breaks! But, as I “grew up,” life got busy and sadly, I let it go.

​

During the pandemic, I picked up my art materials again and started trying to capture the likeness of my doggos (it was just Merlin and Zula back then—we now have Tilly too!). As I gained confidence, I began painting pets for friends and family as gifts, and I haven’t stopped since. Thanks to the support and encouragement of my husband and family, I’m now proud to call myself a part-time professional artist.

What sets my work apart is my love of colour, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animals. Every brushstroke or pencil mark is made with care, with the goal of creating a piece that truly reflects your pet’s unique spirit and charm. I especially love chatting with pet parents to learn about their furry friends’ personalities and quirks—it really helps me bring them to life on the canvas.

When I’m not creating art, you’ll often find me out walking with my husband and dogs on the beach or in the hills, planting veggies in the garden, practising yoga, or dabbling in all sorts of other crafts and activities (with varying levels of success!).
